The St. Vincent Behavioral Health Campus is a ground-breaking initiative designed to expand and improve access to our community's behavioral health resources.
Our campus addresses crucial service gaps, particularly in mental health and substance abuse treatment, by creating a centralized location where people facing serious mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and chronic housing insecurity can access the support they need.
At the heart of SVBHC is its crisis stabilization unit (CSU), co-located with residential treatment and outpatient programs, to offer immediate help to individuals in crisis. This CSU provides urgent mental health and substance abuse support, including stabilization and safety assessments, before transitioning to appropriate long-term care. The residential treatment facility offers round-the-clock intensive care, while the outpatient program provides ongoing, structured support for individuals in recovery. This seamless path from crisis intervention to recovery-focused care minimizes service gaps and enhances the continuity of care, helping prevent relapses and reducing hospitalizations.

The campus also provides detoxification services and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals starting their journey to recovery. Through trauma-informed therapy, individual and group counseling, and peer support groups, clients receive the foundational support needed for healing and lasting sobriety. Additionally, the campus offers life skills training, empowering clients with practical skills to support their independence and daily routines.
To ensure high-quality, evidence-based care, SVBHC is collaborating with experienced mental health and substance abuse providers. These partnerships enable a broad range of services, from detox and MAT to psychiatric assessments, individualized treatment plans, and comprehensive case management, meeting the needs of individuals at every stage of their recovery journey.
Beyond clinical care, SVBHC connects clients to essential community resources by partnering with local agencies that provide employment assistance, vocational training, and family counseling on-site. These wrap-around services promote sustainable recovery and support clients in achieving greater self-sufficiency and community reintegration.
By integrating facilities and a wide range of programs including crisis intervention, addiction treatment, mental health care, and supportive housing in one accessible location, SVBHC fills critical gaps in the behavioral health continuum for the local community. This campus is designed not only to streamline access to care but to strengthen community resilience by providing a complete and sustainable path to recovery.

This collaboration brings together top-tier healthcare operators to deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed care, addressing the needs of individuals covered under Medi-Cal and other vulnerable populations.
Our Mission
To expand service capacity, improve equitable access to care, and support long-term recovery.
