Jorge Reyno
Senior Vice President, Population Health, MLK Community Healthcare
Dr. Jorge Reyno serves as the Senior Vice President of Population Health for Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Healthcare.
His role encompasses the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital and the MLK Community Medical Group (MLKCH). The Senior Vice President role is responsible for overseeing the combined population health and community health initiatives to fulfill the MLKCH’s stated strategic goals and community health needs. It includes building evidence-based care models and ensuring care coordination across all care settings through the development of collaborative team environments and engagement with the community to create opportunities for positive patient outcomes. Through these collaborations, MLKCH is able to develop new programs and match progress with the needs of the population and the larger community.
Dr. Reyno previously served as the Chief Medical Officer for Monument Health, a Mayo Clinic-affiliated multi-specialty group in Rapid City, South Dakota; Chief Physician Executive in Missoula, Montana for Providence Health and Services; and Chief of Population Health and Executive Medical Director at Citrus Valley Health Partners (now Emanate Health). He joined MLKCH in 2017, serving the communities of South Los Angeles as the Senior Vice President of Population Health.
Dr. Reyno received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Creighton University and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a combined Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Creighton University. He also received a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from Montana State University in Billings, Montana.
