Dayna Dewitt Rn

Director of Nursing, Cri-Help, Inc.

Dayna Dewitt has cultivated a rewarding career in the behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment sector over the past nine years. Initially trained as a registered nurse in San Diego, California, she transitioned to Los Angeles where she developed a profound commitment to serving marginalized communities.

Her professional journey includes significant roles, starting as detox supervisor at a treatment center specializing in co-occurring disorders.  She subsequently progressed to the position of program manager for a grant-funded medical team, focused on mitigating emergency room utilization among the unhoused populations across five major hospitals on the Westside of Los Angeles.

Currently, Dayna serves as the Director of Nursing at CRI-Help, Inc., a role she has held for the past four years. In 2021, she achieved certification as an addictions registered nurse and was elected to the board of the American Society of Addiction Nursing in 2023. Her efforts have been instrumental in developing protocols that emphasize safety and comprehensive care for high-risk, complex individuals. Dayna is actively involved in addressing the opioid crisis and has played an essential role in integrating Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) services into both residential and detoxification programs at CRI-Help. Her dedication to innovative treatment approaches continues to improve the quality of care in her community.
