Andrea Amador
Project Manager, Swinerton Builders
As Project Manager, Andrea Amador is responsible for overseeing the entire construction project staff. She maintains direct relationships with ownership, stakeholders, and architects, ensuring smooth communication throughout the project. Andrea also manages the financial aspects of the project from start to finish, including day-to-day cost control.
She negotiates and manages all subcontractor agreements, material procurement, and purchase orders. Andrea ensures the accuracy of contract administration, submittals, document control, project drawings, specifications, and general conditions. She also handles schedule maintenance, as well as quality and safety control. Additionally, Andrea plays an active role in preconstruction planning, value engineering, estimating, and budgeting.
